Making Iowa More Affordable

Let’s face it - everything is getting more expensive. We need to make Iowa more affordable, and part of that is returning to Iowans the hard-earned dollars that are rightfully theirs. I voted to reduce income taxes in our state, and this year I’m taking aim at reducing our property taxes too.

Improving Mental Health Care for Iowans

Mental health matters. We’ve made it a priority, and continue to do so. We’re training healthcare providers, increasing access to care and helping schools address student needs.

Stepping Up the Fight Against Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is happening in our own backyard. I’ve voted for tougher penalties and fewer opportunities for human trafficking perpetrators, put stronger support systems and protections in place to help survivors rebuild their lives, and instituted clearer definitions help to more effectively prevent violence and bring offenders to justice.
